There were over sixty wines from around the world to taste. The range covered table wines, fortified wines and sparkling wines. There was wonderful live music provided by local musicians organised by Jackie Cunningham. In the food room Paul Hubbard and his team from Rolfe’s of Walsham excited people with the great range of food and gave people new ideas for Christmas. Last year we raised just over £400.00 for the Hospice, which we hope to better this time. A special thank you to Robert Williams and his family without whose support this event would be impossible to run. They generously donate the use of the HAUGHLEY PARK BARN facility for the day. This is a perfect venue for our event as it is for weddings and other celebrations. Tasting 2012 This year we will be doing a tasting of wines for Christmas on the 18th of November. As usual it will be held at Haughley Park Barn starting at 12noon and finishing at 4pm. A finger buffet will be available between 1.30 & 2.30 pm. There will be wines for the entire Festive season to taste. Come and taste a new range of wines for: Drinks parties Aperitif wines Dinner wines red and white Dessert wines Sparkling wines for celabrations Tickets from Wattisfield wines @ £15 and profit will as usual go to St Nichola's Hospice.
